Diane, the owner of The Spa at Hornby, trained at the prestigious Champneys at Tring in 1978. She worked in their health farm on-site for two years before setting up her business. Now, with over 40 years of experience in the industry, Diane has built a loyal following of clients who appreciate her expertise and personalised attention. Some clients have been with her since the start, valuing that Diane knows them and their skin so well.
Upon arriving at The Spa at Hornby, you’ll discover a walled entrance that leads to our secluded haven. The spa is a good distance away from the road, with the drive taking you past rolling Yorkshire fields, ensuring complete privacy and tranquillity. There is free parking for all our guests, eliminating the stress of finding a space on the high street or having to pay for parking.
At The Spa at Hornby, we understand that our guests value their time and privacy. We offer a variety of one-off treatments as well as spa packages that allow you to spend more time enjoying our facilities, such as our lounge, before indulging in a treatment. Glebe Cottage
Glebe Farm Cottage is a charming rental property located in the stunning Yorkshire countryside right next door to our boutique spa! It sleeps up to seven people and is perfectly appointed for a relaxing break away from it all. Guests can enjoy exclusive use of the spa for a weekend break, reunion, gathering, or corporate event, and a private chef can be provided for those who choose to dine on the premises.
The cottage itself boasts breath-taking views of the Cleveland Hills and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The interior of the cottage is cosy and welcoming, with Vispring beds that guarantee a good night’s sleep. The cottage features a lounge and a snug as well as a large open-plan kitchen, dining and seating area with AGA and Smeg appliances. Guests can explore the nearby town of Yarm, which has been voted the best High Street in the UK, and indulge in some top notch restaurants, coffee shops, and boutique shopping.
